How old is Halsey?
In Paramount+/Showtime show Halo, based (but not canon) to Microsoft's videogame Halo, Catherine Halsey is played by Natasha McElhone.
It showds several scenes of Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 in current age and when it was a child and Halsey appears in both. However, Halsey is portrayed by the same person and with no apparent change on her face apart from small haircut changes. It looks like Halsey simply didn't age and Master Chief grew from a child to a man.
In the videogame, Halsey is portrayed by an older woman but the series is not supposed to be canon to the videogame's lore. Is there something in the series that explains this that I missed?
