Did Joker lie about where Rachel was?

Batman (Bruce Wayne) loved Rachel Dawes, so he decided to save her and left Dent for the Gotham Police Department to save. They didn't both try to save Dent; Gordon went after Dent while Wayne went after Dawes, but The Joker lied about who was located where.

Did Joker know Batman would go for Rachel?

But there's no evidence that Joker knew about Batman/Bruce and Rachel relationship or that Batman was Bruce. The "Batman jumping off the window to save Rachel" doesn't make a convincing argument because Batman would probably do that to save any innocent person and being Harvey's gf makes her even more important.

How did the Joker capture Harvey and Rachel?

Back at the police department, the Joker successfully goads Stephens into attacking him and takes him hostage with a piece of glass, demanding his phone call. He uses the phone tossed to him by another officer to trigger a bomb he had hidden in the body of one of his thugs.

Did the Joker know Batman was in the interrogation room?

I admit, this probably doesn't affect the movie that much, but it gives a new perspective to Heath Ledger's Joker. As the title suggests, in "The Dark Knight," The Joker knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman.
