There is this question that has answers - How do they film scenes with the actors driving in a car?.

But it is really more about stunts and more aggressive driving. My kids are watching The Office and they noticed that there is a lot of scenes that the people are driving in and it sure seems like they are driving. Are they using the same methods as the above answer for "basic" driving scenes too or are some/all of the scenes filmed while they are driving?

All of the driving scenes in The Office are real. There's a blooper that shows Steve Carell taking a wrong turn. The article linked also references some discussions in Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fisher's Office Ladies Podcast. Pretty interesting!

Where in the office do they actually drive?

"I started by reaching out to Steve and he said, yes...they really drove a real car into a real lake," Fischer said. "He said they did this stunt twice all the way through, and that Randall [Einhorn], our camera operator, was in the back seat. So, of course, Angela, I had to reach out to Randall."

How are driving scenes filmed?

To film driving scenes, a real car is loaded onto a trailer. Then, a camera is mounted on the hood of the car facing the actors. A truck then pulls the trailer so the driver isn't distracted by driving and can focus on doing their best acting.
