John Smith kills Himmler by drowning him with the poisonous gas in 'The Man In The High Castle'. After killing Himmler, John wanted the tank to be disposed. Why did he feel the necessity to dispose the tank he killed with? How did Goertzmann get away with of the murder of Himmler and dozens of high rank officers in Himmler's office? If Goertzmann is the only highest rank left, why did they dispose the tank, and covered the murder of Himmler?
