What was Amberle Elessedil holding if she is the seed herself? - Person Holding Fresh Chestnut

At the end of The Shannara Chronicles, Amberle Elessedil (the princess) walks into the fire (to another world/dimension) to obtain the seeds to save the Ellcrys.

You can see her holding a seed in the series (some red-ish color) but then the plot turns and a woman appears in the other world and tells Amberle that she, herself, is the seed.

Q: So what was she holding then, since they already went through a lot of trouble and sacrificing almost all the blood from the rover?

Is Amberle the seed?

But the princess didn't save the ancient tree with the seed she'd received in the show's beginnings -- turns out, she was the seed all along.

Are Amberle and Wil related?

Meanwhile, Wil's relationship with Amberle was strictly platonic, but his indiscretion obviously irked the princess -- as proven last week when he asked her to take off Eretria's chains so she could be more of a help during their journey to Safehold.

Who does Princess Amberle end up with?

The Ellcrys Reborn Wil eventually recovers and goes to visit the newborn Ellcrys one last time before leaving Arborlon. Years later, in The Wishsong of Shannara, it is revealed that Wil and Eretria have married and had children.

Who does will love in the Shannara Chronicles?

After recovering from the long journey, Wil eventually married Eretria, a Rover girl who had become a part of his and Amberle's quest.
