Why are there so many octagons in Exorcist II: The Heretic?

Why are there so many octagons in Exorcist II: The Heretic? - Hindu Deity Figurine on Purple Textile

Sure, there are many questions to be had regarding this movie, but why is the clinic Regan goes to made of octagons in the rooms? But especially, why are people constantly pushing big octagons around in the background?

This movie was difficult to pay attention to. I promise I watched the whole thing, and maybe they explained it, but if so I don't remember. Maybe it's in a script.

Is the Exorcist 2 scary?

I have been haunted by The Exorcist II for over 35 years now. One scene in this film remains to my mind the most singularly, mind-numbingly terrifying sequence of modern cinema. It has nothing to do with demons or swarms of locusts or green vomit.

What is the plot of The Exorcist 2?

In the end, Regan banishes the locusts (and Pazuzu) by enacting the same bullroarer ritual attempted by Kokumo to get rid of locusts in Africa (although he failed and was himself possessed). Outside the house, Sharon dies from her injuries and Tuskin tells Lamont to watch over Regan.

How does the Exorcist 2 end?

The production was based at the Warner Bros studio in Burbank, where the 'Georgetown' house, along with the famous flight of steps \u2013 were recreated on a soundstage.
