Why curse them to stay near the river when it would lead them to the Tears of the Moon?
In Jungle Cruise (2021), Aguirre is cursed by the tribal chief for the massacre.
He is never to lose sight of the river otherwise the jungle would take them back.
Aguirre burns down a whole village because the tribal chief refuses to give him the arrow head and reveal the location of the Tears of the Moon, which is a magical tree whose petal Aguirre seeks to cure his daughter.
But why did the tribal chief curse Aguirre to stay in sight of the river if the river is what leads to the location of the Tears of the Moon?
