In Series 23 Episode 3 of Top Gear when they hand the Audi R8 over to The Stig, there was the customary introduction / joke. On this occasion it was delivered by Sabine Schmitz, in German.

Unfortunately my German is rustier than a 25 year old Alfa Romeo so I didn't understand what was said. Can someone provide a translation?

Some say, es ist der Mann, der auch ein Rennfahrer ist. Er hat zwei … Füße!

which translates into English as

Some say, it is the man who is also a racing driver. He has got two … feet!

Is Sabine Schmitz The Stig?

Host of Top Gear On February 11th 2016, it was confirmed that Sabine would co-present Top Gear's twenty-third season along with Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris, Rory Reid, Eddie Jordan and The Stig. She continued as host in the show's twenty-fourth series and will return for its twenty-fifth season in 2018.

At the time of her revelation, Schmitz was still making recurring appearances on Top Gear. She died of cancer at a hospital in Trier on 16 March 2021, aged 51. The N\xfcrburgring have renamed the first corner of the Nordschleife loop as the "Sabine-Schmitz-Kurve" posthumously in her honour.
